Leverett is a small town in Franklin County, Massachusetts and part of the Springfield metropolitan area. The town of Leverett has a population of less than 2,000 and it's located on the edge of the Pioneer Valley to the east of the Connecticut River. The town's main geological features are Leverett Pond and Rattlesnake Gutter, a boulder-filled chasm. The town has four villages: Moores Corner, North Leverett, East Leverett, and Leverett Center.
