Hinsdale is a small town located in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Hinsdale is part of the Pittsfield metropolitan area with a population of just over 2,000 people. The town's early economy revolved around the woolen mill until the Great Depression. Today, Hinsdale is a largely residential community and popular town for commuters who work in nearby Pittsfield.
